Robert co-founded Aspire Media N.I. CIC with Andy Cooper in November 2022. He leads operations and client relationships, helping businesses and community organisations shape a clear brief and connect with the right support across Aspire’s services.
His background brings together business, marketing, photography and community media. Before Aspire, his career spanned foodservice, transport and logistics, giving him experience of different working environments and the practical needs of businesses.
Robert’s media experience includes motorsport and sports photography. Alongside his Aspire role, he is Institute FC’s Media & Communications Officer and a volunteer business mentor with The King’s Trust.

Robert completed a BTEC National Diploma in Business at Northern Regional College in Coleraine in 2011. He has continued developing his skills through leadership and digital marketing learning, including an ILM Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management and OCN NI digital marketing qualifications.

Robert was Highly Commended in Young Person of the Year at the 2023 Northern Ireland Social Enterprise Awards. His subsequent finalist and shortlist selections include social enterprise leadership, local business and The Institute of Leadership awards.
